The music released this month has been great, from the best artists to the brightest newcomers. This year has certainly been special and we can only hope it gets better.

I've done a cheat way for this post. Above you can see all the single and album releases that have caught my attention! I've left out the information of one of the artists - Stormzy.

I'd like to consider myself a London boy. I lived in London for a while before moving to Woking then the Isle of Wight. During all of this transitioning, I always kept myself up to date the London music scene when I caught the rise of the Grime scene I was hooked and always tuning into SBTV, Fire in the Booth to see who was the latest rapper/MC in the game.

You don't need to know about me. Stormzy is who you need to know of, and who you need to be listening too. He is the winner of the Best Grime Act two years running (2014 and 2015), he rose to fame with notable single releases on youtube: Shut Up, WickedSkengman, Not Too Deep, Know Me From.

He went a bit quiet during 2016 but has come back with smart marketing and promises of a fire album, and single release Big For Your Boots.

This is it the album that we have been waiting for, this album is faultless. I feel that he may have been inspired by Chance the Rapper as he shows a religious and soft side in his album, with songs Blinded By Your Grace, Pt.1 and Pt.2, 100 Bags, and Velvet/Jenny Francis. The soft side is nothing new, listen to Stormzy earlier song Dreamer Disease - it's the same man from 2014. Rapping on the soft muzzled beat, this is when I really love his music. His voice and lyrics really come through and you can really begin to appreciate him on the softer layered songs. He brings the energy and grime vibe back with his single Big For Your Boots, and my favourite Return Of The Rucksack. That second mention is the second banger on the album, it is a fire one. It makes you feel like a yout from the endz, with it's strong beats and hyped lyrics.

The album has a clean flow. This is one of the best debut albums I've heard in a long time. Man has killed it. Gang Sings & Prayers is the best thing I've listened to this month and it will be featuring on my Wired Radio sets all year long.

Brapppppppp!!! Big Up man like Lukaku. Thank you for the album, I am sure the next project will be even better. #GSAP
