Now That The Light Is Fading.

The EP was released on the 16th of this month. It has 5 songs, which includes her popular single release On + Off & Alaska.

I feel like I’m at a campfire listening to someone sing, the crickets ringing in the background is almost haunting in the opening song, Color Song. It is a straight up A cappella folk song. With beautiful layered vocals, and driven by the harmonies it’s just a perfect opening to the EP. This is the interesting way to start it, but I like it - Maggie’s music is a combination of folk and electronics which is what makes her so unique.

The songs that follow, Alaska and On+Off are where she brings that electronic bounce to her music. Again accompanied by her on point vocals, and catchy writing she really has got it all. For a debut EP release this shows that there is a lot of promise. I am expecting a big year for the American folk singer.
